ENT Care
Nasal polyps are soft, painless, noncancerous growths on the lining of the nasal passages or sinuses. They often result from chronic inflammation due to asthma, recurring infection, allergies, or immune disorders. Symptoms include nasal congestion, loss of smell, and postnasal drip.
Allergic rhinitis, commonly known as hay fever, is an allergic response to airborne allergens like dust, pollen, or pet dander. It leads to sneezing, nasal congestion, watery eyes, and itching. Timely treatment can improve comfort and prevent sinus complications.
Ear infections, especially otitis media, are common in children and adults. They occur when fluid builds up behind the eardrum due to bacteria or viruses, causing ear pain, fever, and temporary hearing loss. Most infections resolve with medication, but recurring cases may need further ENT evaluation.
Epistaxis refers to bleeding from the nose, often caused by trauma, dry air, infection, or underlying health issues. While most nosebleeds are harmless and stop on their own, recurrent or heavy bleeding requires medical evaluation and care.
